The cardboard material is holding up well to her scratching. She likes pulling on the ball while lying in her kitty condo. I thought the elastic might break quickly but it hasn't. It's easy to vacuum any tidbits that come loose. They are the perfect size for her. Good stability. No odor.

This scratcher is my cat’s favorite (as you can probably see)! We adopted a blind cat that was using our kitchen cabinets as a scratching post.

Great scratchers. Give the nice stretch that cats love when scratching. Great value. Don't leave as much cardboard around as other cardboard scratchers.
